We met Donna back in 2005 when we moved back here from PA. She was still teaching at the time and we wondered if she would be able to dedicate enough time to us for a relocation move. Needless to say, she did a fabulous job... but we also got to know her a little and see that she was truly genuine and not only wanted to sell us the right house for us but also protect our interest. Then in 2014 we thought we had found a dream home and asked Donna to help us again... to our surprise, she sold our home in 5 days, with the first showing! Unable to work out a deal on the 'dream' home, we had a month to find something ... pressure was on and once again Donna came thru for us - we had a very long list of must haves and in the end, Donna was able to find us a Big house that checked all the boxes. I knew it wasn't the right home for us shortly after we moved and in just three short years our needs changed. We became empty nesters, and my husband no longer worked from home, but I still did and it was just entirely too much house for us! As we get older and see how some things are no longer as important and start planning for retirement, we realized we needed to downsize, make some life changes. This was going to be our last move - this was going to be our hardest move - this was going to make our lives better! I called Donna to have lunch and without knowing, she readily accepted to catch up. Talking with her about life, not about real estate, I realized what an amazing woman she is, she is such an inspiration, such a strong woman. She came over in a few days and sat down and listened to our plan, our goal and our needs... I am surprised she didn't get up right then and walk out because it was going to take a miracle... Of course she did a great job selling our home for exactly what we needed out of it so we didn't lose money, luckily it was a sellers market... then came the challenge... finding the right home for us. She knew it wasn't going to be easy. We were on the phone sometimes at midnight and other times before sunrise. It seemed like her life literally stopped for us and she gave us her all. The process was rough at many turns, but somehow she was able to find a way to make everything happen exactly as it was supposed to happen. Of course she is a great realtor, she is smart and knows how to close the deal so everyone walks away happy. But I see so much more in her than that. A true friend. Donna sincerely cares about her clients and she wants the best for them. She is truly an inspiration and great role model for all women. I admire her dedication, work ethic and above all, her caring heart!
